Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. Bea has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea", is an Irish writer and actor. Born on March 16th 1984. Bea's career began in 2011 as a comedian following her appearance in a few parts in Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. Bea began performing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. In 2012, after winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for different panel shows, where she has become a fixture. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she was the only woman in history to win the So You think That You're Funny award. Her surname is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who committed suicide when Bea turned three, was an victim of self-harm. Bea was informed of his suicide only after the age of thirteen. Bea adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea's mom Helen, who is also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey, was the one responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her early days. She knew, however that it wasn't what she wanted to do as a profession and preferred to perform.
